My name is Andrea McMann. I am a freelance writer, the mother of two amazing children, and an eternal optimist. I began this blog because I have an uncanny ability to look on the bright side, which can be a tremendous asset in today’s world. Sure, I’ve had my share of bad days, even horrible days that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy! Most often, though, I’m able to find at least one thing each day that makes me think, “Gee, I’m glad to be alive!” Usually, it’s the smallest things that inspire the greatest wonder in me. From a beautiful sunset to a baby rabbit, to butterfly kisses, the world is an amazing place, if you just open your eyes and take a look around. I don’t care what (if any) religion you are; that’s not the point. My point is that a life is wasted if it isn’t appreciated, and on this blog, I plan to present small wonders and lovely things that will help you appreciate your life a bit more, and maybe even cause you to look around and discover the wonders in your day-to-day life.
